Tenerife Must See Places

In the last five years of international traveling, I’ve been to many countries. Every country has its own interesting culture and stunning nature, but from all of them, Tenerife are the most special to me. Its wild nature and black landscape are breathtaking. It is something you don’t see every day. While you are in nature, it fills like you are in some other world but then when you came back to local town, everything is like in the middle of Europe. Streets are clean and all in europian style, it’s not wild at all.

Here are five places you have to visit while being on Tenerife.

1.Black sand beach

Tenerife is one of the best places to visit the black sand beach. It is something you should put on your bucket list. Not only that Tenerife’s black sand beaches are stunning on its own, but the wild ocean is something you should experience too. With waves going up to two meters it was one of the best swims I have ever had. The thrill that comes with struggling to stay above the water is worth the trouble. It’s interesting that not many people decide to take a swim and there are many lifeguards on the coast. The reason, for that, is strong sea current and wildlife. Only in few hours that we were in the water, we saw dolphin family few meters from us. We didn’t think about other animals that were also there, and you shouldn’t too.

2.Loro Parque

Loro Park is one of the best zoos in the world. It has amazing shows with sea lions, dolphins and orcas. Keep in mind that you will spend there all day cause the zoo is huge and shows last from 30 to 45 minutes. I’ve been there two times and would go again when traveling to Tenerife.

3.Masca

This is the place that fascinated me the most. I can’t describe how amazing it is. First of all, you have to go up in the mountains so you could drive downhill for five kilometers on the extremely steep and curvy road. And then when you arrive, you will see this amazing nature. The great thing is peace and silence since not many people go there due to the road that leads to it. In my opinion, it’s definitely worth the effort to come.

4.Whale watching tour

This one we discovered the second time we came to Tenerife. They offer you a trip with a boat in which they take you to an open sea to watch whales and dolphins. It absolutely incredible, as you have the opportunity to see dolphins and whales, wild and free, playing in the sea. The most fascinating, to me, was the bottom part of the boat, made of netting. When the dolphins come you can see them underneath you.

Have you ever been to Tenerife? What was the most fascinating to you?
